Anthony Giles | ||
Anthony is active throughout the Northwest as a guest conductor and clinician. He is a member of MENC Music Educators National Conference) and ACDA (American Choral Directors Association) and serves as the Regional President for WMEA (Washington Music Educators Association). His choirs have performed at State and Regional MENC conferences as well as with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (the Orpheum), the Tacoma Symphony Orchestra (the Pantages), and the New England Chamber Orchestra (Carnegie Hall). In the Spring of 2005 the Concert choir, Jazz Choir and Divina Voce competed in Washington D.C. at the National Heritage Festival. Annually, he directs the Senior Choir at the Northwest Choir Camp at Flathead Lutheran Bible Comp on Flathead Lake, Montana as well as serves as founder and director of Southlake choir Camp (now a Musical theatre Camp through the Kent civic and Performing Arts). He is also the Director of Music Ministry at First Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Renton, Washington. Anthony lives with his wife Jackie and three children: Mackenzie 12, Amanda 10, and Zachary 3. He loves living in the Northwest where he enjoys snow skiing in the winter and water skiing in the summer with his family. | ||
